Melbourne United's Member Seat Re-sale Program gives reserved seat Members the chance to re-sell their seats for any home games they can't attend. It's a quick and easy way to ensure your seats don't go to waste - and if they sell, you'll earn credit towards your next season's Membership. If you're certain you can't make a game, submit your seats for re-sale and give another fan the chance to be part of the action - while you save some money.
While this benefit is here for Members to make some money back on your Membership, our ultimate goal is to have the John Cain Arena stands at 100% capacity. What is the member seat re-sale?
The Member Seat Re-Sale allows members who are unable to attend games to resell their membership seats to other Members or fans for selected home games.
Who is eligible to re-sell their membership seats?
The Member Seat Re-Sale is available to all full-season members (Premium, Gold, Silver, and Bronze) who have seasonally allocated seats.
How do I return my membership seats for re-sale?

I am eligible for the seat re-sale but I am unable to view my order history on the 'my united' membership portal, what do I do?
If you are a member who is eligible for the seat re-sale and cannot view your order history when you log in to your 'My United' membership portal, please contact the membership team on 1300 698 443 or via email membership@melbouneutd.com.au
Is there a deadline for when I can return my seats for re-sale?
Yes – for the game you are selecting to put their seats up for re-sale for, you will have until two hours prior to tip off of each game. Members will not be able to submit their tickets for re-sale after this deadline.
I have returned my seats for re-sale, can I change my mind?
NO, once you complete the process of returning your seats for re-sale, it is final and cannot be reversed. Your membership barcode will be disabled for that game, and you will be unable to access the selected game using your membership.
What do I receive for for successfully re-selling my seats for a game?
Members whose seats are successfully re-sold via the seat Member Seat Re-Sale program will receive a reward in the form of a membership credit towards their membership fees for the 2025-26 NBL Season. Below is a table to show Credits for NBL26.
What do I receive if my seat is not purchased by another fan?
If you return your seat(s) for re-sale and they do not sell, you won’t receive anything.
Do I have to re-sell my seat if I am unable to attend a home game?
No, if you are unable to attend one of our home games, you don’t need to partake in the Member Seat Re-Sale program. You are still able to share your tickets with family or friends instead. How do I know if my returned seats have successfully re-sold?
Following each home game members whose seats sold will receive an email from the club. If the seat did not sell members will not receive an email.
What is the purpose of the member seat re-sale program?
The re-sale program is intended for members who cannot attend the game and whose seats would otherwise remain unused. This enables fans without a ticket to fill these empty seats, improving the game day atmosphere and ensuring as many fans as possible get access to high demand home games.
